Music has been a huge part of my life since my grandmother bought me my first ukulele at 6 years old. I graduated to a treasured plastic Beatles guitar, a cheap nylon strung Spanish, then a Honer electric bought with saved Saturday job money, and finally to my first proper Telecaster (which has since been joined by 3 more Teles, a Strat, a Django Maccaferri style acoustic and a Gretsch 6120. Amongst others. Which explains where all the money went.).

I’ve played in various bands, and sessioned, in London since the Late 70s, enjoying notable success and playing some fantastic gigs with ‘Bedouin Fever’ in the 90s.

In the last few years I have worked, as part of Coast Music, with John McWilliams, co-writing and producing tracks for 2 female artists – Matina and Melody Carr – enjoying several big worldwide club hits, and hitting the heady heights of No. 2 in the dance charts with ‘Rise’.

I also have the great honour of co-managing, with Duncan Toone of UKLA Management, the best new Rock act on the boards today – Daxx & Roxane, from Montreux, Switzerland – who undoubtedly have a huge future ahead of them.

Just to keep my hand in, I still play in various bands – a few covers here, a bit of blues there, and a fair smattering of rockabilly.
